Who We Are

The IRA Association of America is an alliance of financial planners, real estate agents, attorneys, bankers, investment advisors, and CPAs. Our members are trained and certified to handle transactions involving Unlimited™ Retirement Accounts.

The Self Directed Account is a tax favored retirement account designed for investment into anything allowed by law. The Allowable investment options include real estate, mortgage notes, private businesses and many other assets. Read the FAQ in our Information Center for more information about what’s allowed and what’s prohibited.

Of all the IRA, 401(k) and other tax favored retirement money in the U.S., over 90% sits in accounts designed to have needless investment limitations. Fortunately, most retirement accounts are eligible for rollover... this means that you can "roll over" your existing retirement accounts into a Self Directed Account.
